The first official ride will start from Steven's Landing in Marco Island. Meet at Bob Smith's condo development in the parking lot. We will visit the Fakahatchee Preserve, which is on the Tamiami
Trail (Rte 41), approximately 9 miles past the intersection of San Marco
Rd (Rte 92). We will be on Rt 41 for a short while but it has a big shoulder. We will be going through Everglades City and
then to Chokoloskee Island. A really interesting ride, and little
traffic except for Rte 41. Bob will be co-leader for this ride.
