Something new that I had not heard of before was Trunk or Treat which is the way of giving out Halloween Candy to the neighborhood kids is a more condensed way. What do I mean by that? Cars that have been decorated for Halloween are driven to a central location and the kids come to that area and get treats from the trunks of the cars. Seems to be pretty popular in the South. Sure does beat the "old-fashion way" of having to open the doors at home to give out candy.
The homeowner's association put this together. They also had a children's party with pizza and a mad scientist as well as a haunted hallway before Trunk or Treat started at 7 PM. Here are some photos of the Haunted Hallway.
A lot of work went into the Haunted Hallway and I did enjoy it!
